Hi Jim, yes it was tedious doing the reposting once this software had been set up, but was worth it for the sites I used it on for a number of reasons.
I got to clean up some messy publishing that I did
I only re-posted urls that hadn’t been indexed yet, or just fell out of indexing
and I added content to each post upon publication
The site I spent the most time doing this on has been my best-producing Adsense site, except for Christmas time.
Once you set this up, you’re pretty much done with your RSS submissions, although I would suggest hitting the top 3-5 sites to submit your main site feeds seperately. If you did that all at once it’d take 5 minutes.
RRSS feeds for linking is basically good for “index driving”, ie, making sure the posts get indexed and stay indexed.
